Day 50/100 Recap — Week 2 of Backend

It’s been about 500 days since I started my programming journey, mainly focused on frontend development, especially React.js. Now I’m diving into backend fundamentals. This past week was all about building APIs with Express.js.

Today I spent time learning about middleware in Express.js. It was interesting to see how middleware sits between the request and response and helps handle logic like validation, logging, and more.

Day 37 — Update

37 days in… built 6 React projects, made 2 Figma designs, learned a lot, failed a lot, fixed a lot — and stayed consistent.

Frontend chapter done.
Starting backend (Node.js) from tomorrow and going full-stack for the next 60 days. Let’s level up.

For today’s challenge, I worked on the add-to-cart feature of my Amazon clone project. It was tiring at times — especially handling data from different places — but it was still a good step forward

Spent the whole day learning and practicing Figma. Picked up a lot of concepts and applied them while designing portfolio layout. It’s still incomplete, but—solid progress for one day.

This is Last week of frontend — feels kinda crazy saying that.
I’ve been working on my final AI-integrated frontend project, and it’s been a mix of wow this is cool and why is this not working again 😅

Today was all about trying Linux, and I finally managed to boot it successfully — now I’m officially using it.
Besides that, I worked on our campus weekly hackathon project, which is an AI-powered web app. I’m handling the frontend for our team.

Today wasn’t my most productive day — I was tired and exhausted, and my attempt to switch to Linux didn’t go as planned.
But despite all that, I still managed to implement sign-in/sign-up functionality in my Amazon clone project.

Today was a full coding day — literally woke up, had breakfast, and spent the rest of the day coding.
