Andrew Carnegie donated $2B (in current dollars) to build 2,500 libraries. Most of these beautiful buildings still stand today, over a century later, anchoring downtowns across America.
MacKenzie Scott, on the other hand, incinerated $26B on woke NGOs with nothing to show for it. Nothing she has funded will endure a year from now, let alone 100.
It would be tragic, if it weren’t so disgustingly wasteful.
This really captures why we fight:
‘Those who peddle lies about our heritage—that we live on stolen land or our heros were oppressors—are trying to the destroy the people who declared Independence, settled the West, and conquered the skies. We will not let that happen.’
Once you have enough foreigners in your country politics is not about ideas, its about tribal warfare
That's a terrible place to be but our ruling elite thrust it onto us and lecturing people about the Constitution or capitalism isn't going to solve that
The power politics are straightforward, regardless of your feelings on "right or wrong." The temper tantrum over the MOU won't move votes. Everyone knows it. Never Trump already tried this in 2016 and 2024 primary. No relevance. Tucker, on the other hand, is a real issue...
WHY AMERICA WILL LAST ANOTHER 250 YEARS, AT LEAST
There’s a popular theory, posited by British historian Sir John Glubb, that empires last around 250 years.
It’s not perfect, of course, as the feats and failures of man rarely, if ever, fall neatly into mathematical timelines. But as a general rule it works pretty well.
Just ask the Romans, Ottomans, and the British.
Which makes one wonder, on this the 250th anniversary of America, if the greatest power the world has ever known is in its twilight years.
It’s entirely possible; we are $40 trillion in debt and about as politically divided as possible.
But I wouldn’t count us out yet, and here are 3 reasons why:
1. Tradition is back en vogue: the leftist Leviathan that began with Marx, accelerated postmodernism, and eventually conquered America’s institutions is in retreat. People are finally waking up to the horrors of unbridled secularism, and as a result church attendance is up, wokeism is in retreat, and right-wing political movements are gaining traction both at home and abroad. America can only be saved by restoring her root principles to modern policy, and our current traditional renaissance presents the perfect opportunity to do exactly that: RETVRN!
2. Our enemies aren’t any better off: ever since I was a child China has been years away from either conquering the world or completely collapsing (Schrodinger’s China, anyone?). That’s still the case today, as very few people know the reality of what goes on inside the borders of our biggest geopolitical foe. But here’s what we do know: due to demographic imbalance China is experiencing plummeting birth rates and, by extension, a shrinking population; its economy is highly unstable due to reliance on exports and an upside down real estate market; and it faces increasing political unrest as people grow more prosperous yet continue to lose more freedoms. In short, China may not be approaching collapse, but it has a massive suite of problems that increasingly look unsolvable and threaten any plans for sole superpower status. Europe is no better, of course, as its mass importation of migrants has permanently altered the continent’s demographics and put unprecedented strain on its countries’ socialist safety nets. And Russia? Well, if they couldn’t topple Ukraine good luck with world’s most powerful military.
3. The world needs America now more than ever: no one knows what the future holds, but there’s no doubt that the world ten years from now will look very different than it does today. Technologies such as A.I., quantum computing, and bioengineering will give governments unprecedented surveillance power over their citizens and what remains of individual liberty will be at risk of extinction. If America doesn’t lead in every regard, the planet faces a very dystopian future. While our moral compass isn’t perfect, it’s exponentially better than everyone else’s. Period.
In short, while on paper America looks quite vulnerable to decline, in reality we may well be on the upswing.
This country has always run on optimism, and as it stands we are sitting on a full tank.
So here’s to another 250 years, at least!
For our own sake and the rest of the world’s.
Foreign affairs must be put on hold until the enemy within has been defeated. It’s just that simple. We have revolutionaries operating in the open and they must be stopped. If they are not, millions of people will die. Those are the stakes of this game.
