crypto went from giga chads like GCR making tens of millions shorting LUNA and betting against FTX while staying completely anonymous
to a bunch of low aura, chronically online KOLs with the most punchable faces imaginable being worshipped like they're the greatest traders alive
what the fuck happened to this space?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are hundreds of such bots. The thing is, most of them require a monthly subscription.
Unlike this one. :)
@netrovertHQ is a good friend of mine, and it's a pleasure to share some feedback directly with the developer... I'm going to spend the next hour digging into dexscreener, TG chats, and playing with things a little bit...
saw this last night, shipped it this morning
Netro Signal now watches 20 big accounts across
solana, base, hyperliquid and more,
and pings you when a fresh project follows them

I think this is a very underrated take.
I've been doing something similar after hitting 7 figs in my first cycle during ICO mania and giving it all back, holding the vaporware down to -95%.
During this time I was running another business, which was going very well too. But once the bear brought me back to reality, and the business started to dry up as well, you only realize how much value the money actually has. During good times you never appreciate it until its gone.
Going from 0 to 100k was significantly more important than 100k to 1m. Because it's very hard to get out of the 4 and 5 fig hell, while having the overhead cost of basic living.
All of this goes away once you have a nice cushion and you have full control over your spending each year. The percentage from cost to earnings/savings is just too good).
The same thing applies to the 1-5m range (depending where you live at). Once you reach this area, your goal should be to reduce risk, not push it.
Because with this kinda capital, conservatively invested into indexes or even property (which is often a less attractive investment), you secured the bag. It's very hard to go below that unless you keep pushing unnecessary risk with diminished upside.
After learning my lesson from the first rodeo, I told my self to never fumble the bag again and did my best to do less risky things. I put majority of funds away. Leaving a small amount to push risk again. But never to gamble with your nest egg.
If you got there through skill, you will run it up again.
If you gut there through luck, you saved your self a ton of money and heart ache.
After that I still donked good amounts away in other "less risky" opportunities, but I think for most of us crypto gamblers, its best to offramp aggressively and idealy never deposit it back again.
Secure your bag, reduce your downside risk and start the game again with 1/10th of your portfolio is a reasonable approach imo.
There is no rush to get to 8 figs. If you're here, you will most likely pursue to chase the hot ball of money for the rest of your life.
Theres a reason why many of those 80 year old dinosaur finance bros , like peter lynch, are still on this app. They're addicted to the gamble and just love the game.
"Fear is the mind killer"
I've always been an anxious person. If anything was uncertain I would try to find certainty. And if I wasn't able to do so I would overthink it constantly.
But what I realized is sometimes all you can do is let go. Control what you can and let go of the rest.
If all you do is find the bad in things, you miss out on everything else.
New opportunities. The small things worth appreciating. The ants and the trees.
The Year Is 2032....
- Gold is now worthless
- Entire internet is hackable
- AI bubble has burst
- Real estate is dead and gone
- Crypto? (What is 'crypto'?)
The entire economy now runs on PSA 10 Charizards, first edition Harry Potter books, vintage high-quality One Piece collectibles, and original un-opened quaalude blister packs from the early 1970's π€
It was considered that if a16z, Paradigm, Dragonfly (and the list goes on) invested, it's a project worth farming.
a16z invested ~$9.8 billion in crypto and ~$90 billion in AI, bio, fintech, etc.
The meta now is not judging a project by VCs (as it used to be).
