Results are the only thing that matters.
And yesterday in Gdansk, on the eve of the official start of the ‘Ukraine Recovery Conference’, Kharkiv received exactly that result — €47 million for the city’s resilience.

€15 million in EBRD loan financing is allocated for emergency liquidity support for Kharkiv. An additional €32 million is directed to the modernization of the district heating system, including €15 million in EBRD loan funding and €17 million in a non-repayable grant from the European Union. For Kharkiv, ahead of the heating season, this is one of the key areas of work.

Another important step is the updated Memorandum of Understanding with UNICEF. The cooperation covers safe education, healthcare, social policy, child protection, support for adolescents and young people, and, once again, critical infrastructure.

For the third year running, Kharkiv is hosting its own side event at the URC venue. For us, this is a way to elevate the experience of all frontline cities to the international level and engage with partners in a substantive manner: not around individual requests, but around a systemic model of further recovery. With clear priorities, ready to implement projects, financial logic, and accountability for execution.

Kharkiv has long been the capital of resilience. But resilience is not slogans it is the city’s ability to live and work even after severe enemy strikes, while simultaneously planning its future economy.

І вчора у Гданську, напередодні офіційного старту конференції «Ukraine Recovery Conference», Харків отримав саме результат - 47 мільйонів євро для стійкості міста.

15 мільйонів євро кредиту ЄБРР - на екстрену підтримку ліквідності Харкова. Ще 32 мільйони євро - на модернізацію системи теплопостачання, з них 15 мільйонів євро кредиту ЄБРР та 17 мільйонів євро безповоротного гранту від Європейського Союзу. Для Харкова перед опалювальним сезоном, як ви розумієте, це один із ключових напрямів роботи.

Окремий важливий крок - оновлений Меморандум із ЮНІСЕФ. Співпраця охоплює безпечну освіту, охорону здоров’я, соціальну політику, захист дітей, підтримку підлітків і молоді та, знову ж таки, критичної інфраструктури.

Третій рік поспіль Харків проводить власний сайд-івент на майданчику URC. Для нас це спосіб винести досвід усіх прифронтових міст на міжнародний рівень і працювати з партнерами предметно: не навколо окремих запитів, а навколо системної моделі подальшого відновлення. З чіткими пріоритетами, готовими проєктами, фінансовою логікою і відповідальністю за виконання.

Харків давно став столицею незламності. Але незламність - це не гасла, це здатність нашого міста жити і працювати навіть після ��ажких ворожих ударів й одночасно планувати нашу майбутню економіку.

Я щиро дякую кожному партнеру і кожному гостю нашого заходу - представникам урядів, міжнародних фінансових інституцій, агентств ООН, містам-партнерам і всім, хто був, є і, впевнений, буде поруч із Харковом.
