@RadioTimes I loved the first series of GGG to M. Emma Myers was terrific as Pip. The first series was charming. The darker second series is less so. I almost gave up on the first episode, Pip had become a scruffy, morose young woman. The light touch that made it watchable has gone.
@ShabanaMahmood Why does it take the BBC to highlight this huge problem? It has been obvious to everyone, except the government it seems, that our high streets are awash with criminality. This intervention seems too little, too late.
@RadioTimes The new judges are trying a little too hard to show interest and emotion. The result was some strange wide eyed face pulling, especially from Anna, but otherwise, it was fine and I'm sure they'll settle in.
@RadioTimes King and Conqueror. I was so looking forward to this but, honestly, it was awful. Filming it in Iceland using shaggy ponies didn't help. These men were kings not peasants but you would never have guessed. Muddled and messy and worst of all incredibly dull.
Suella Braverman at the Reform press conference today:
"The Britain that I love is being ripped apart by diversity, equality and inclusion."
Have you ever heard such a pig-ignorant, stupid statement?
@BBCPolitics I didn't know my arse from my elbow when I was 16. I was easily lead by my peers and not much good at independent thought. That comes with a bit more maturity. I think 18 is still about right,
@TimesRadio If you get rid of Starmer, he could be replaced with some hopeless, unelectable left winger and labour will be out of power at the election for the next fifteen years. If you want to replace him make sure it's the right choice.
An algorithmβs watching me, I am not certain why,
It sends advertisements for things I do not want to buy,
It makes me feel uneasy, that upon me it has preyed,
And if I could locate it, I would whack it with a spade.
@BBCBreakfast I'm assuming the containers are insured. There should be a wash up premium paid on each container that passes to the country/council/ state to pay for clean up costs. When the chips are down somebody must pay.
