@ianamikagautam If English is their first or only language and they still suck at it, yes. Very much. Lol. If English is their second language, no. Learning a second language, especially one that's as much of a monstrosity as English, isn't something to be judged.
@ElizCWagner Sarah and Will in one WIP. Krona, Tenna, Olivia, Ricardo, Reginald, and Rone in another. Alina and Bastien in another. Lessiyara and Ronan in the book I just released. Lots of irons in the fire. 😅
@TeresaTraver1 One of my characters is neurodivergent and only speaks when she sees good reason to/is comfortable speaking (she's not nonverbal, just not very verbal), so she nods and shakes her head a lot. Lol. But it fits her character.
@AuthorGoodwin Two rounds of self edits, then beta readers get the manuscript. I make changes according to feedback, then do one more round of self edits. Then, I have Word read aloud and fix the problems I hear. Then, Grammarly. Then, a round of edits with a pro.
@MsAbuRishBTES Whatever I have available at the moment. Lol. Primarily, I type on my computer, but if I need to jot notes on my wrist while at work or type on my phone in a waiting room, I don't mind.
@LovingCats8 Ebook preorders are up for my dark literary fantasy romance! It has enemies to lovers, found family, sentient magic, gritty backstories, and a healthy amount of spice.

Holy shit, I just knocked out 143 pages of editing! I got absolutely sucked into my own book, and goddamn if that isn't a wonderful feeling.
