@DrFrancesRyan It’s so painfully true! It’s a huge hole that guts town centres and the repercussions of which are just massive - my home town of chesterfield has a v busy m&s but the prospect of closure would be devastating to the town centre, I’m not sure how it would survive without it
@thewhitepube Haha the worrrrrst! Have you heard of #ChangingPlaces ? Reallllly great campaign to raise awareness for better toilet and changing facilities for disabled people that mean people have better access and don’t have to lie on the floor to be changed etc...ewwwww
@dzeij_dii Wow - strangeness, buster boubdrais, yes. just read the article and ordered the book straight away, thank you sooo much for drawing my attention to this!
Tomorrow is #ChangingPlaces toilet awareness day but we want to raise awareness everyday. Because everyday this affects hundreds of thousands of disabled people & their carers & families in the UK. Please help us #incLOOsion#inclusion#equality#equalrights
My friend @TanyaleeDavis uses a mobility scooter & today she was shamed by Great Western Railways - a pram boarded & when tanyalee refused to move, @GWRHelp threatened to call the police & chuck her + her partner off. This is not pushchairs vs wheelchairs. This is discrimination. https://t.co/w1CT7N4F6X
What are you even talking about? You would rather have fellow disabled people isolated/excluded so you can participate in a ban that erroneously pinpoints straws as the largest factor to pollution.
You chose ableism, not environmentalism. https://t.co/p7BqPNErDk

The straw ban is a form of
eugenics that restricts
disabled peoples access
to public spaces, forcing
us to stay isolated+out of
Sight

Yes. Talia Grant(@babygtals) is the first #ActuallyAutistic black woman to play autistic role on UK drama. Talia, you are the definition of #AutisticBlackGirlMagic and also a definition of #AutisticBlackPride. You go, girl!

Had the most incredibly intense and vivid dream last night that I met @jenbrea when she came to see my “100 minute long arts doc about ME”, perhaps this was the arts follow up to Unrest or something?!
We love you @jenbrea and we’re so grateful and thankful for the incredible and powerful work you’ve done and are continuing to do! I imagine it must be hard work being a hero to all of us, but please know that by simply existing you fight for us every day.
