To wrap up this quarter I wanted to thank @conartinsitu and @gotjwl for getting us out and off campus. I also want to thank all the museums we visited and all the artists we had a privilege of writing about. Thank you fellow classmates! I won’t stop posting on this account!
Why did Larson chose to paint dead and dry objects instead of luscious ripe fruits with shiny drapery? She successfully brought a new perspective to still life through her painting which makes me want to see her other pieces.
@JanamejaySharma I really like this picture you took of the piece. It adds to the experience of this work as a whole and its parts. I remember walking into the room and the painting was slowly revealed by the wall in the exhibit. This perspective gives off a new feeling of the work.
