Apply for jobs, apply for scholarships, apply to further your studies. Go to the interviews, complete the assessments, do it for the plot. Opportunities favor those in motion.
How tf can you call yourself a fan of Ariana Grande and not see that she is unwell. Fuck you with "it's none of your business" it becomes everyone's business when people, like your kids, friends etc try to emulate her appearance. You have no idea what an eating disorder does to you, want me to show you from experience? I'm A NOBODY but imagine Ariana, YOUR IDOL ending up like this, until death takes her. You fucking hypocrites, she's not just music to please your ears, she's a human being who is in denial, yeah ED will do that to you, deny that you have a problem. Let me remind you that ED has the highest mortality rate of mental disorders.
Stop denying that she needs help and I really hope that she finds it 🙏
There are now more powerful, long-acting prevention and treatment medicines against the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) available worldwide, but they do not reach the intended persons because of disruptions in financial assistance, an international group said. https://t.co/CIt6TwXIRo | via @onenewsph
@geeyanii SEE. As if naman kasalanan namin na "incompetent" ang agencies. We're overworked and underpaid in a thankless job. We pay the same taxes as you. We work to make things better but not everything is within our control, and yet we're the ones villainized for the system's faults.
I saw a post saying that men rarely get compliments and that maybe women should compliment them more often.
The next day, I told a guy at a coffee shop that I liked his jacket.
He took it as an invitation to keep talking, followed me out, and wouldn't leave me alone until I walked into a busy store.
It was a pretty quick reminder that the reason many women hesitate isn't because they're rude.
It's because not everyone hears a compliment as just a compliment.
This was a real case from Germany.
A surgeon accidentally cut his left hand with a scalpel while removing a malignant abdominal tumour called a fibrous histiocytoma.
Five months later, a new tumour appeared at the site of the surgeon’s injured hand. Molecular testing confirmed the impossible: the surgeon had developed the same type of tumour as the patient.
Histopathological and DNA analyses showed the tumour to be genetically identical to the patient’s original cancer, indicating direct implantation of tumour cells into the wound.
The surgeon’s tumour was successfully removed. Two years later, he remained well, with no evidence of recurrence or spread.
With sharps injuries, we worry about blood-borne infections. But in exceptionally rare cases, cancer cells can also seed and implant into the wound.
