Christopher Nolan says watching ‘OBSESSION’ has made him even more interested in directing a horror film, especially after ‘THE ODYSSEY’.
“When you go see a film like ‘Obsession’, that’s an amazing idea. That movie works like a motherfucker.”
My husband always told me his female coworker traveled constantly.
So when I saw them together at the airport, I wasn’t suspicious.
Until I heard her say:
“Did you pack the baby’s things?”
I stopped walking.
My husband froze.
She turned around.
There was a stroller beside her.
And inside was a little girl.
I looked at my husband.
“Baby?”
Henry vs Salah
Henry is the actual better forward: complete, two-footed, the Premier League standard.
Salah has outscored that standard across more seasons in a harder league, with worse service years mixed in.
Henry’s peak was the system. Salah’s output survived the system changing around him. The complete legend is the shorter spike.
Sentry’s greatest battle isn’t against another superhero... it’s against the darkness living inside him. ⚡💀
When Robert Reynolds unleashes his power, the scale becomes almost impossible to comprehend: buildings collapse, the sky becomes a battlefield, and enemies that normally terrify the Avengers suddenly look completely outmatched.
But then the Void emerges, turning all that power into something far more frightening.
The hero who can light up the battlefield is also carrying the darkness capable of swallowing it.
That’s what makes Sentry’s story so cinematic... the fight isn’t simply good versus evil; it’s one man desperately trying to hold himself together while two unstoppable forces tear through the world around him.
Every time Sentry rises, there’s the terrifying question of which side is coming with him. 🔥
He doesn’t just fight the villain… he fights the possibility that the villain is him. 💀⚡
We live in a world where a plastic mannequin behind a glass store window gets dressed in brand-new clothes every single season, while real, living human beings are forced to sleep on the streets without basic warmth. Read that again and let it sink in.
Look beyond the boundary of the visible world, where ancient landscapes meet the silent reach of the cosmos. Every glowing beam, distant horizon, and surge of starlight is a reminder that we are not merely spectators in this universe—we are an active expression of it. When you pause to quiet the mind and look upward into the unknown, the noise of daily existence begins to dissolve, replaced by a deep sense of alignment. Notice how the earth below and the expanse above seem connected by an invisible thread, pulling your awareness toward something far greater than yourself. We often look outward for answers, yet the act of reaching into the vast mystery of the night sky mirrors the journey within. Step into the silence, embrace the mystery, and allow yourself to reconnect with the boundless energy that flows through all things.

Some movies remind you that talent can come from places nobody is looking. ♟️
Queen of Katwe is one of those films that makes you root for someone before they even realize how special they are.
Phiona Mutesi starts with very little but the moment she discovers chess, something changes. Suddenly, the girl everyone underestimated has a place where intelligence, patience and strategy can take her somewhere completely unexpected. Lupita Nyong’o brought so much heart to Nakku Harriet, a mother whose biggest concern was protecting her children from disappointment. And Madina Nalwanga made Phiona’s transformation feel incredibly genuine. You watch her go from simply learning how to play to realizing that maybe her circumstances don't have to decide her future.
And David Oyelowo’s Robert Katende? The kind of coach every young person deserves. He didn't just teach Phiona how to play chess. He taught her how to think beyond the board. A young girl from Katwe discovers an extraordinary talent for chess and begins competing against players from backgrounds very different from hers, opening a door to possibilities she never imagined.
Sometimes you don't need someone to change your life. You just need someone to show you that your life can be bigger than what you currently see.
Be honest: what movie from the 2010s made you believe that your circumstances don't have to determine your future?

The reason John didn't say in this lantern oath "no evil shall escape my sight" because he literally let evil get away with m*rder, helped cover it up, and put earth at risk by letting a manhunter live in this episode.
MY GIRLFRIEND HAS A CAR, A BETTER JOB AND MORE MONEY THAN ME. I WAS FINE WITH THAT UNTIL I STARTED FEELING LIKE SHE WAS USING IT TO MAKE ME FEEL SMALL
My girlfriend, Linda, has a car.
I don't.
She also has a much better job than I do, so obviously she can afford things I can't.
I never had a problem with her earning more than me.
The problem is how I feel around her now.
Sometimes, I don't feel like her boyfriend.
I feel like I'm constantly at her mercy.
Colman Domingo is seriously one of those actors who can make you forget you’re watching an actor.
From Bayard Rustin in Rustin to Cutler in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Victor Strand in Fear the Walking Dead, he brings something completely different to every role.
The range is crazy. You never feel like you’re watching the same character twice. That’s what makes him so good.
My father died the week I finished secondary school. My brother is 28 now.
One evening, I walked past his room and heard him whispering on the phone:
“Okay, Dad. I miss you too.”
I froze.
Our father had been dead for 13 years.
He ended the call as soon as he saw me.
“Who were you talking to?”
“Wrong number,” he said.
Hal Jordan’s run in Lanterns really did feel like the writers punished him for existing: ten years locked up for trying to stop the town from getting wiped, then his ring taken by John, then a point-blank shot from the woman he loved just as he said I love you.
The funeral bit stings hardest because the show spent the whole season showing how little the Corps or the town ever valued him, so three people showing up (and one of them wishing him dead) matches the contempt the story kept signalling.
Plenty of fans are calling it character assassination, and the replies already floating Ryan Reynolds getting a second shot feel like people just want any version of Hal that isn’t left in the dirt after thirty years of service
