I remember how much it meant to my Dad for us to spend time together when I was a kid, and I didn’t get why it was such a big deal because I knew he was going to be around forever. Well he wasn’t, and was only with me for 18 years. I definitely took it for granted.

The positive I take from this is I now know how special it is to be a father and to cherish every little moment with Jax.

If your Dad is still with us be sure to call him, tell you that you love him, or spend time with him. If he isn’t, do something that would make him proud every day.
