@1goodtern I also kept my 4YO home from kinder in term 1 to protect my newborn. But it all feels so hard as a parent. My 4YO will start school next year and I'm so anxious about it all.

@1goodtern So anxious since pandemic started. I follow you + others for guidance. 4 year old + 6 month old. Got COVID from lapse in judgement when didn't mask 5 weeks preg + went to westfield. We got COVID first in ED despite masked, when my 4YO was 7 months. Feel like a failure for my kids

@marisa26473216 @CrabbBrendan Also sick kids need to be kept home, this is huge additional contributing factor to why parents + kids are constantly sick. My 3yo started kinder this year + literally every 2nd week this year we have had a virus - I was dreading this, but it's worse than I thought it would be

@rebeccaoco @1goodtern I feel so helpless. Now that my child is a preschooler we have first illness from Kinder. I hoped things would be better by the time she started kinder...we didn't do childcare, playgroups, etc to mitigate risk, but I feel its out of our hands as she enters the education system.

@DALupton @BoudicaHero Sad thing about this image is that things aren't much better in this scenario 4 years later. Visiting elderly family/friends is still a huge risk, but needn't have been if post-lockdown had been managed better + people actually cared about others + the truth of current situation.

We just got dep health texts saying we may be eligible for our next dose as it's 3 months post infection, but I thought it was meant to be 6 months?

@catsocialintel @1goodtern Was a burning throat your first symptom? It was my first symptom and I'm still getting it 3 weeks later along with reduced sense of smell and taste. so disappointed we got infected, tried so hard not to wearing n95s everywhere, it just all feels so hopeless 😔

A new wave is likely, whether it reaches the record peaks we saw a few months ago is hard to predict. Important, but a bit of a distraction. Today's cases, hospital numbers & COVID/excess deaths (10-20/day), in our trough, are exceptional. Lots of COVID out there. #COVID19Aus

Would have preferred more caution + consideration in the lifting of restrictions. Taking mask rule away on 24/11 just makes me so sad.

@DanielAndrewsMP Wow what a terrible idea to get rid of masks indoors so early, I bet @VictorianCHO wasn't on board with this one. As a pregnant woman already anxious with the idea of going out when lockdown lifted, now there's no way I will be. Masks are small inconvenience, can you reconsider?

@VicGovDH Can you please list exposure sites on the Mornington peninsula, so many sites I'm hearing about from word of mouth by chance only. Would be good to know what's happening in my community when I'm pregnant and anxious. Delegate it to councils to tweet out if you have to.
