If you've ever set foot on Stanford's athletic campus, then you know that there's an energy there that doesn't exist anywhere else I've been aside from the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Losing 11 sports from that energy is nothing but sad.

This sucks man... I can attest to Stanford sailing being a very strong program with wonderful student-athletes. The only varsity program in the PCCSC district they are vital for the infrastructure of the league. They also provide lots for the pacific coast high school programs.

Stanford always had the toughest schedule out of any program. The most competitive events are on the east coast, and they have to fly across the country, every weekend for almost 9 weekends in a row. Massive sacrifice to their collegiate experience.
