Bedlington Belles is a womens football team founded in 2020 and based in North East England. We compete in the Northumberland Womens Premiership.

Heaton Hawks 6-2 Belles

A disappointing first half saw us go 4-0 behind against a quick Heaton side, but we rallied in the second to make a real game of it. Though the damage was already done, we were never gave up!

A great start to the season against a quality Crammy side, who kept it 0-0 going into HT. Our pressure eventually paid off though and we scored twice in the last ten minutes to pick up a deserved 3pts.

We exit the FA Cup, but put in a good performance not fully reflected by the scoreline. An early injury to Demi Taylor was a major blow to our chances, but we never let our heads drop and everyone grafted hard til the end.

We've had a busy pre season, taking part in THREE small-sided tournaments and SIX friendlies, with training inbetween!

Yesterday we took part in the historic Berwick Stanks competition and whilst we were the wrong side of a 4-2 result, had a great time playing alongside some local Berwick players against Morpeth Town and helping raise plenty money for charity.

It's an early start for the Belles this Sunday as we take part in CLS United's 7-a-side tournament.

Delighted to be taking part in the Berwick Charities Cup again, with our last appearance being a thrilling 2-1 loss against Alnwick Town in 2022, entertaining a massive crowd at The Stanks.

Unfortunately, today's scheduled game against Newcastle East End has had to be forfeited due to a family emergency. This now means our league season has reached its conclusion.

We played most of the game with just nine players, but the injury-struck Belles put on a terrific battling performance to make it through the full 90 minutes, ending up with a respectable scoreline against excellent opposition.
