AFTER 17 YEARS… THE LINE RUNS AGAIN.
25/08/2026 Yesterday marked a significant milestone in the journey to bring Okin Biscuits back.
For the first time in 17 years, biscuits rolled off one of our rehabilitated production lines at the factory in Offa. We had to rebuild the line after having all cables, frequency drives, contactors, motors and other electronic components stolen
This was a technical TRIAL RUN - NOT a product trial. At this stage, we were not concerned about colour, appearance or achieving the final Okin recipe. The objective was simple: Can we bring this line, silent for 17 years, back to life? And we did !
And there was another major milestone: IBEDC officially connected the factory to a 33Kva Band A electricity grid today.
There is still work ahead. More testing. More calibration. More rehabilitation. And, of course, getting that familiar Okin taste and quality exactly right before the biscuits return to the market.
But today, we celebrate progress.
The machines are turning.
The ovens are firing.
The biscuits are beginning to roll out again.
One step at a time. Okin is coming back.

@CoveredInWords This is valid reason to seek Kul'h (Divorce). It not advisable to stay because of being "ashamed". The fault/sin is on the man.
If it's the other way around, the more likely to happen is that the man won't keep her.

I had to come back to this dua cos it works. It’s just surprising how Muslims underrate the power of dua. Why are you tired of calling the one who’s never tired of granting wishes?
@NagosBigBoi@daily_trust@FinPlanKaluAja1 @nagosbig listen to the clip of the Honorable he said he compared the harmonized copy versus 🆚 the gazetted copy. So your point here is not correct
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily, no Muslim ever makes duʿāʾ for anything with [the duʿāʾ of Yūnus عليه السلام], except Allāh responds to them”
[Tirmidhī: 3505]
لا اله الا انت سبحانك اني كنت من الظالمين

There is no god except You, glorified are you! I have indeed been among the wrongdoers.
The correct answer is to seek refuge in Allah and ignore such thoughts.
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA):
"Satan comes to one of you and says, 'Who created so-and-so?' until he says, 'Who has created your Lord?' So, when he inspires such a question, one should seek refuge with Allah and give up such thoughts."
(Sahih al-Bukhari 3276, Book 59, Hadith 85)
@sweeteststew Fuel(Petrol) is still selling for that amount because fuel was/is massively subsidized(govt. denies this) when it was ₦1800- $1. Now that the it's ₦1,100 subsidy still exists though it will have reduced. To see sharp drop in petrol price , $1 has to be like ₦400-₦500.
@AbuUbayy1@AbuUbayy1 Una don turn Shaykh to comedian with these short short clips. I can imagine this will go far today and beyond.
Instead of people to pick plenty lessons from today's Khutbah.
This will be the most widespread portion of his today's Khutbah
