🚨Excited to share that my lab (@LabSrivastava) has published its first research article in Advanced Functional Materials (@AdvSciNews)!!

Led by two of our undergrads (Nathaniel and Ken), we introduced a method to enhance the poor/low near-infrared afterglow brightness of existing substrates' by using a functional protein coating of bovine serum albumin. Its application has been demonstrated in surgical navigation and image-guided cancer surgery, utilizing tumor-mimicking phantoms and ex vivo porcine models. 🧫🐖🔪
