BREAKING: META REPORTEDLY PAID CONTRACTORS TO POSE AS TEENAGERS AND TEST RIVAL AI CHATBOTS.

According to a WIRED investigation, Meta hired hundreds of contractors to create fake teen accounts and stress-test ChatGPT, Gemini, and CharacterAI.

The contractors reportedly asked thousands of questions about suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, sex, and drugs, while recording how each chatbot responded.

One stage of the project, reportedly called “Cannes,” included more than 45,000 prompts.

Meta says this kind of testing is common across the AI industry and helps companies compare systems and improve safety.

Revolut is reportedly removing Tether’s USDT from its platform, giving its 50M users until August 31 to sell or withdraw before remaining balances are converted to fiat.

BREAKING: Wallets tied to Irish drug dealer Clifton Collins just deposited another 500 $BTC, worth $30.85M, to Coinbase Prime.

Collins reportedly bought around 6,000 $BTC in 2011–2012 at roughly $5 per coin, printed the private keys, and hid them inside fishing rods.

Authorities later seized his assets but never recovered the keys. After 10 years of silence, the wallets suddenly woke up 3 months ago.

Since then, 1,500 $BTC has been sent to Coinbase Prime and Wintermute.

The wallets still hold 4,500 $BTC, worth around $276M.

LATEST FROM ANTHROPIC:

Claude Fable 5 appears to have come back heavily restricted.

After re-running the July 1st version of Fable 5 on BridgeBench, the results dropped sharply:

- Debugging: 86.2 → 25.9
- Refactoring: 73.6 → 38.4
- Hallucination: 75.9 → 61.7

The issue may not be the model itself, but the new guardrails Anthropic has placed around it.

Too many tasks are being blocked, redirected, or falling back to Opus 4.8. This is not the same model that originally caused controversy.

Anthropic owes users a clear explanation.
