@aigkenham @johnwyte @AndyStanley When read literally, God "said" connotes vocal cords, which means God has a body and is not Spirit. And, God "saw" means God has physical eyes.

So God is not Spirit, he is embodied, but then Jesus said he was...? (John 4:24; cf. 2 Cor. 3:17-18).

Sounds like Mormonism.
