Defense lawyer Mark Vinluan moves to strike out a portion of private prosecutor Mae Divinagracia’s comment on Bar rating percentage.

“I placed tenth po sa Bar po noong 2015,” witness Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) executive director Ronel Buenaventura replied when asked about his educational background.

“Kung pwede ko pong maitanong, Atty. Buenaventura, ano po ang inyong naging Bar rating kung inyo po itong naaalala?” Divinagracia asked.

“85.75 po, your honor,” the witness replied.

“85.75, sorry your honor, naalala ko lang po that’s 5.7 percentage points more than ‘yung 80 percentage points nung kakilala namin ni Atty. Vinluan,” Divinagracia remarked.

“Objection, your honor, move to strike out that portion of the comments. I don’t think that’s relevant,” Vinluan objected.
