Vocal choices aren't always about singing with the most power possible. A singer may use more head voice because it fits the song's style, helps maintain stamina while dancing, protects their voice during long performances, or is simply part of their artistic identity. Different techniques serve different purposes, and versatility is just as important as power.

That's the mark of a true artist. My shining star isn't defined by one vocal approach. His versatility, stage presence, and artistry are what make him exceptional. A true stage genius. 💙✨😉

I cannot believe some people are still calling his head voice "unnecessary" 😭

Head voice is literally a normal and essential part of singing. Every trained vocalist uses it. Not every song is supposed to be sung in chest voice from beginning to end, and forcing that can actually create more strain and limit a singer's range and dynamics.

Also, yangyang never told 🌟 to stop using head voice. His feedback was about making certain parts (the chorus in that case) sound fuller, not about avoiding head voice altogether. Those are two completely different things.

And if we're talking about consistency, 🌟 has been one of the most reliable live singers throughout the show and he still is. His ability to switch between chest voice, mix, and head voice depending on the song is actually one of his strengths.

You may prefer how his chest voice sounds, we all love it tbh, and that's completely fine. But saying he uses head voice unnecessarily is a misunderstanding of how vocal technique works.

I finally had time to watch JL's fancams and AHOF performances, and I could not be prouder of him. His voice is truly beautiful, crisp, controlled, and paired with a vocal texture that is so pleasing to listen to. His visuals are top tier, and there is absolutely no doubt about that.

What amazes me even more is his performance quality. Watching him dance is genuinely addictive. His sharp movements, smooth transitions, and expressive facial expressions all fit the music perfectly.
