I was simply using it as an example that matches my own taste in games. Compared to many other RPGs, I wouldn’t necessarily consider it a must-play recommendation. Perhaps it’s a matter of cultural background, but even though the latter half of FF16 follows a fairly conventional and predictable JRPG-style adventure plot, I still had enough patience to see it through to the end.
If I had to compare the two games to food, I’d say that GOW is like a plate of lasagna, whereas RDR2 like a meticulously crafted French meal more. Lasagna is undoubtedly more accessible to most people, but if you’re willing to take your time, experiencing that French meal will leave you with something far more lasting to reflect on.
The first time I played RDR2 was on the PS4. I gave up after few hours and didn’t come back to it until I bought it again on Steam during the PS5 generation. Only then did I finally finish the game. If I remembered that was during a summer vacation few years ago.
As for Rockstar’s games, I do have some advice. On your first playthrough, try not to worry too much about the tedious collection tasks. Just immerse yourself in the main story and side quests. On a second playthrough, you can always go back and do the hunting, fishing, and other completionist activities without hurting the overall experience at all.
P.S. If you’ve played some JRPGs such as Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Dragon Quest XI, you may find it easier to get used to Rockstar’s slower pacing and style of storytelling.
Perhaps it would be smarter for the father to talk to the staff first before going in. The staff could have checked whether the bathroom was empty and then given him and his daughters few minutes’ privacy. In this way, it might not have affected anyone else, and he would not have had to see that bald asshole
Simple calculation. Australia and Canada would move far ahead, China would still rank above the United States, and India would disappear from this list . I don’t think this kind of per-capita calculation is very meaningful, since our daily household electricity consumption is only a small part of the numbers above.
I would begin searching through every piece of biological research I could find to see if there was any way to make myself live longer. If time around me truly stopped, I should never forget that I would still age and develop illnesses. The most important thing would be to find a way to survive for as long as possible.
I believe that if Sweden had won the Great Northern War and managed to keep Ingria for the long term, the region’s environment would likely be in much better condition than it is today. Still, having Russia as a neighbor is not the worst possible situation—at least much better than having both India and Russia as neighbors🤣
This is also one of the root causes of the turmoil that has plagued East Asia in the modern era. As a result, Korea was divided into two, and Koreans in the northern part of the peninsula have lived in extreme poverty ever since. China was also divided in two. The Soviet Union secretly intervened in the Chinese Civil War by transferring captured Japanese Kwantung Army and German military equipment, as well as by deploying former Kwantung Army prisoners of war. Although World War II was won, most people in China subsequently lived in extreme poverty for decades.( All of this can be found in United Nations investigation reports and United Nations General Assembly Resolution 505.)
The threat posed by North Korea is far greater than Iran. It only makes itself appear less threatening than Iran. Even after decades of strict technological sanctions and isolation, it still managed to develop nuclear weapons and use its own trained hackers to steal funds from around the world. Iran, meanwhile, is still only capable of persecuting its own people and its neighbors. If it were located somewhere else, it would probably be little more than another Afghanistan. It is not a good idea to underestimate any East Asian country, especially when it‘s on the opposing side. It’s even more important to remain cautious.
When evaluating the overall condition of an economy, data such as GDP per capita, median income, and manufacturing indices are generally more meaningful than total GDP. Comparisons with Japan’s total economic output will only have real significance when PRC’s GDP per capita reaches a level at least close to that of South Korea.
@hagov_berlin If an East Asian country were to appear out of thin air on Earth, it would probably adopt this flag. I don’t think it could represent the whole planet, just as people would not consider using the Nordic cross to represent the Earth.
I don’t feel it's necessary to feel anxious about it. Although the whole thing is somewhat absurd, I do not think the negative impact would be particularly serious in Europe, at least. If you asked some European friends, their reaction would probably be something like “And?” or “That’s it?” (I guess they may feel both two sides as somewhat childish). I have never been to Japan and also I'm not familiar with some Japanese rules, but if they really broke some rules, I would think this video could be used as evidence in a police report. If not, then the endless arguing under that tweet would not mean much either. But personally, I would cancel all my plans for study or travel out of fear of this kind of McCarthyism atmosphere.
