Beltic

Beltic allows businesses to safely accept agents. Backed by Norwest, Oxford Seed Fund, Restive, and others.

[Restive Ventures @restivevc]

For too long, agentic identity has been bottlenecking the growth in agentic commerce, as merchants didn't have a way of knowing which agents to trust, and whether they were authorized to enter certain transactions.

We're thrilled to invest in the Seed round and support @Isha @mikeallanpe and the incredible team at @beltichq as they solve this critical problem.

[Beltic @beltichq]

@jleites13 @NorwestVP Thank you for the support. Let's keep going!

[Jordan Leites @jleites13]

Excited to share that @NorwestVP is leading @beltichq's seed round as the company emerges from stealth today.

As AI agents begin transacting on behalf of businesses and consumers, financial institutions and merchants will need to know more than who an agent is. They’ll need to understand what it’s authorized to do, on whose behalf, and who is accountable. We believe that creates an entirely new infrastructure layer for agentic commerce.

That’s what Beltic is building.

@Isha and @mikeallanpe have both lived this problem firsthand, with deep experience building identity, verification and financial infrastructure at scale.

Beltic sits at the intersection of two areas where we have strong conviction: the modernization of financial infrastructure and the emergence of agentic commerce.

We’re thrilled to partner with Isha, Mike and the rest of the Beltic team on this important mission!

[Pranav Karra @pranavkarra]

Really enjoyed my time working with @Isha , @farhanafsahi , @mikeallanpe , @lbcastll and the rest of the team.

For agents to actually do meaningful work on our behalf, we need a way to know who they represent, what they’re allowed to do, and how that authority propagates as work gets delegated between agents.

Beltic is going after that foundational trust layer. Very excited to see them finally out of stealth. Congrats to the team!

[Beltic @beltichq]

@NorwestVP Thank you for the amazing support. Let's keep going.

[Beltic @beltichq]

@AiWithIqra Indeed it is

[Beltic @beltichq]

Officially out of stealth. If you're ready to safely accept agents, come talk to us.

[Isha Bhatnagar @Isha]

An AI agent can buy something in seconds.

Can the business receiving that order tell who sent it, what it can do, or whether to let it through?

We built @beltichq to answer that. We're out of stealth with $8.8M raised to make agent traffic verifiable.

[Sentient @sentient_agency]

This makes the whole idea of agents shopping for us feel a lot more practical.

Good to see Beltic building for the businesses receiving those orders too.

[Beltic @beltichq]

@sentient_agency 🙂

[Beltic @beltichq]

@theresidency The Residency is a big part of what Beltic is today. Thank you for your support!

[Latitud @latitudglobal]

Your bank always asks if you’re trustworthy. Nobody asks if your agent is. @beltichq does 👁️

And it's finally out of stealth. $8.8M in pre-seed & seed. Now working w/ partners on the standard for Know Your Agent (KYA).

Glad to have backed Isha, Mike & Farhan at pre-seed. Day 1!

[Beltic @beltichq]

@latitudglobal Glad to have you with us.

[michelle @MichelleJWu]

@Isha @dpjandu @beltichq Congrats Isha!

[Beltic @beltichq]

@guillermocasfer @Isha Thank you for your help, Gui!

[Alif Hossain @alifcoder]

AI agents can act in seconds.
The next challenge is making sure businesses know exactly who they’re dealing with.
That’s where @beltichq comes in.

[Beltic @beltichq]

@alifcoder Let's go! If you're ready to safely accept agents, come talk to us.

[Beltic @beltichq]

@tomi_roggio @latitudglobal Let's go!

[Tomi Roggio @tomi_roggio]

Do you trust your agent?

@beltichq is building the trust layer for the agentic future. A hard, important thing to do. But this team has what it takes.

@latitudglobal co-led the pre-seed round last year. It’s been incredible to see Isha and Mike build and sell. Today they’re announcing some great capital partners.

Day zero!

[This Week in Fintech @twifintech]

EXCLUSIVE: @beltichq has raised $7.3M to build KYA infrastructure for the age of AI agents.

The Norwest-led round brings the startup’s total funding to ~$8.8M.

As agentic commerce grows, Beltic is tackling a new problem: businesses need to know not just who is behind an AI agent, but what that agent is actually authorized to do.

Its software can verify agent traffic, check actions against a business’s rules and allow, block or require additional confirmation.

“Identity is not enough,” CEO Isha Bhatnagar told TWIF.
