Had an interesting day installing @Thermaskirt heating today. Premium product that’s looks fantastic. Will definitely look to use again as a underfloor heating alternative. Carl was a great bloke too 👍

@GasManGod Condense was connected to a down-pipe which blocked. The roof was draining into the boiler. Flooded to boiler.

Found this today on the heating system pressurising. 15mm with two 8mm pipes forced in then soldered! Fill and test tomorrow, I’m not looking forward to tomorrow.

@Fandango_phil Same thing happened to me with the Mexco bit after a few holes. Now have a Marcrist bit that is still going strong! Is twice the price but worth it.

@Plymouthgas Open the bath tap and kitchen tap at the same time and add their combine l/m. This is worst case real world scenario for a combi so size from that.

@Plymouthgas @Best_Plumbers Seen this before, it’s not fail safe. I asked a big manufacturer to put a spring loaded rubber flap in the inside which closes the port and can be pushed open with the probe. Told it would cost to much to develop. Need to wait for an incident!
