She further cut the budgets of top hospitals like Groote Schuur and Tygerberg saying that they had a pre-occupation with “diseases of the rich” (Heart Transplantation) and that the money should be spent on primary health care for blacks.

She also launched an attack on what she called “Big Pharma” for exploiting poor blacks. Following severe budget cuts, standards at hospitals and top medical schools (internationally highly respected under apartheid) dropped significantly. Doctors emigrated in droves - the media called them “Zuma-Refugees”.

To Dlamini-Zuma it was no problem. She simply imported sub standard Cuban doctors (most who were later forcibly deported) and forced SA medical doctors to work for a pittance at government hospitals for 2 years in remote and dangerous areas. This increased the emigration of our top medical practitioners. The nurses followed suit....

Dlamini-Zuma also wasted R14.3 million on a useless Anti-Aids play called "Sarafina II" ...The similarities with the Nkandla affair are eerie. There’s the same, significant abuse of public money. The same poor tender processes. The same stonewalling and refusal to account before Parliament. The same smears of the opposition and the media. The same blind political support. The same kind of adverse finding from the public protector that led to no meaningful consequence. Ultimately, the same warping of Parliament to the ANC’s will.

In Sarafina II, the historical groundwork for the ANC’s contemporary contempt for constitutionalism was laid in the concrete in which it has been trapped every since.

And at the heart of it all was Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.

When Thabo Mbeki became president, he promoted Dlamini-Zuma to Minister of Foreign Affairs, which opened a whole new chapter for us... Just like she did with the Health Ministry under her watch, she turned the Foreign Affairs Ministry into joke almost overnight.

According to U.S. Attorney Jon Raebro of the Northern District of Michigan: “She used her own son to scam her fan base. In the end, she made more than $600,000.”Out of that massive haul, Milano gave the team just $10,000… and pocketed the rest.

She’s now facing interstate commerce charges.
