After marinating on the live experience and listening to the Forest Hills rock show again, I think Ambergris into Sad Pilot is definitely my favorite bit of the show. Incredible performances, Joey goes pretty nuts in both of those.
I can usually enjoy most people's company, but maybe I've just been way more sensitive lately and that's why I'm feeling this way. They're still the greatest band in the world (objectively) but I can't love all the shitheads in the fanbase.
Also I definitely enjoy the company of awkward autistic gizz fans like myself. I'm happy the fanbase has grown but the 'im here to get fucked up and party' crowd makes me uncomfortable and I definitely felt more of that at New Haven and FH this year than in the past.
I finally caught a Hypertension! Great show last night and it was great to see @ObsidianCleaver and @EbbAndFlow98 for a bit in line! I took my friend to his first show and his mind was blown.
Life update: Been living in a hotel in New Haven for training. I have to do 16 weeks of it to go into real management at the Yeehaw Factory. It's exhausting but rewarding.
