Other than Hempo, name another teenager that has this much confidence taking on players. Her speed and power for us in transitions like this is mental? We are watching the start of a new youth project at city!

Absolutely magnificent starting debut for Iman Beney IB24🇨🇭

[Sei @seilesstay]

Iman Beney vs Brighton

[D .\ N 🇦🇺 @THFC_Dan_]

You’re welcome @smfc

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@clauoomf God can the girl not have fun? I cannot believe these are the straws we as fans are grasping to. She doesn't need to be military marching into a cryogenic Joie Chamber. It actually makes me feel bad the girl can't even do a belly slide without judgement.

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@Chinex_Jennie As an Australian die hard, There was a time (not long ago) where I would agree with you but for her height, the answer is now Ewa Pajor. She doesn't need to header much in Romeu's system but when she does it's essentially neck and neck if not better than Kerr in the biggest games

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@Nathaniel87557 @cata_gen Ye definitely a tough ask there. I just think Marta, Renard and La Reina are probably more decorated with trophies

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@Uzo00001 @sportsfanJR5 Amazing elaboration...maybe add some substance for that brilliant insight

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@Nathaniel87557 @cata_gen I assume you are referring to Marta here

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@amara_faitho Pretty much bang on 5 but I wonder if you would put defenders in the conversation. For me I think Renard is in the conversation with such a decorated resume and the level they have held across multiple eras of WOSO is second to none (maybe Marta but Id argue better longevity

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@cata_gen Yes sure she's not La Reina, Ada, Aitana, even Lloyd or Wambach turned up more in big games but you cannot say she doesn't have a CV of turning up in big games when she definitely did domestically, against Arsenal, United and even West Ham which is a derby for them

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@cata_gen I am a city fan and this is not entirely her fault. She was very good in the 2nd leg vs Bayern and was part of the reason they made the final. Fine Barca popped them and the own goal in the 1st min is what it is but she just very much did it in many big games

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@im_ScraPer Also don't act like pack sides like Liverpool, Everton or United would beat the 2nd squads that Barca put out cos they are just so far ahead of the rest technically its incomparable

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@im_ScraPer I think you need to watch more and give the other teams time and money to develop cos they do punish on occasion. Sociedad beat Barca last year and gave Real a red hot go as well in their race for 2nd. Even Eibar held Real goalless and Athletico was also capable in the 3-2 loss

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@joellikesthis It was more their press was poor because we were cleaner and swift at this last year. Check out Viv's 2nd goal I believe vs United last year and you will see the best of us doing this. I agree we haven't really been pressed much this year bar Bayern and Madrid but we will improve

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

If I have one mission in life it is to make sure people respect Iman Beney🇨🇭In 2 seasons:
- Winning goal vs Arsenal at Etihad
- 2 assists in an FA Cup semi final
- Thrown in all positions
- This tackle last night

I HAVE NEVER LOVED WATCHING A PLAYER MORE

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@mcfc_citycity I think Coffey is better for starts and has been so underrated in her performances. She runs with the best attackers and does so well in her duels and LBB is best to finish off the game with her line breaking abilities

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@Wfutbal @TomJGarry Last year wasn't great I admit as Sociedad were close to u but now they are out of contention post-Ruiz departure. He now has a better squad to match his style. I agree Weir, Misa, Rocio and Iris leaving sucks but just curious cos it feels like ur actually better now

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@Wfutbal @TomJGarry Interesting response. What's ur issue with Quesada?Genuinely curious as a City fan to know as from an outside watching the Liga F, I feel like his style and gameplan is finally getting back to his best.

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@karlaaaa18_ PERFECT RESPONSE. I get rival fans being funny and bantering but some fans are so reactionary. The RM result is disappointing for us and we can play better than that. lets say we beat Arsenal on Sun, doesn't change the UWCL performances that can improve and AJ will desire more

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@deguero9 @JaydeMayaHinata Thought I was in a Pandora's box and I was the only one seeing it. She was by far our best sub vs Madrid and very solid vs Bayern. Everyone is such a G/A output merchant if your a woso fan and can't see that Coffey is very good at what she's being asked to do idk what to say

[b.krieser @ben_krieser]

@deguero9 @MCWFCjxxvxxkkkk She will get there. I believe in AJ he's a fantastic coach and she's only been here a few weeks. Give her time and she will be a top 5 LB in the world no question. Her physical attributes and attacking capacities are already up there tbh its just refining defensive aspects
