A great showing by my 14u Firecracker Black team going 5-1-1 in the 16u Storm Summer Showcase losing 5-2 to 16u South Lyon Stealth in the semifinals. I helped where I could with some hits, good defense and lots of hustle. I didn't help out as much at the plate as I'd have liked but that's how the game goes sometimes.

I'm excited to play in a PG WWBA and visit the Field of Dreams in Iowa next week. I've got 3 pitches working on the mound with 65% strikes thrown, 17% swing and miss rate, 18 k's and 3 walks over 13 2/3 innings so far. Looking forward to a great July!
