Reform are entirely dependent on selling you the myth that Britain is broken. And that the people who ‘broke it’ can fix it if they wear a different colour tie.
He shot an unarmed woman twice, called her a “fuckin’ bitch,” blocked paramedics, let her bleed out, and then fled the scene.
In no universe is this man an “innocent law enforcement officer.”
And your willingness to lie about things we can all see with our eyes is psychotic.
Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don't talk about it.
@DrRobTucker The bizarre incentive now is to sack off developing your clinical ability on the wards, and to spend as much time as possible working on your latest coloured food tray audit for an international catering conference
“‘Vaccines don’t cause autism’ has never been proven.” Correct, because that’s not how science works.
If I say “sunning your perineum twice per day increases your IQ by 10 points” you would say, “prove it.” The burden of proof is on me, the person with a tanned perineum. If I responded by saying, “no, you prove to me perineal sunning DOESN’T increase your IQ by 10 points,” I am operating under the false assumption that my perineal sunning claim is fact without evidence to back it up.
The burden of proof is on the person claiming that vaccines cause autism, not the other way around.
Most people have no idea how bad the UK doctor training system really is.
It demands double the training time of other countries, pays doctors less at every stage, and then often keeps them “junior” even after they finish all their training.
Look at the numbers.

In 1952, my mum gave birth to me. Yesterday, at the age of 100, she passed away. As a baby, she fed me, washed me, and looked after me when I was sick.
As a young child, I sat on her bike as she took me to school. She taught me the difference between right and wrong. She was always there for me.
My mum knew I was struggling with my gender identity from a very early age. She was the one who gave me a skirt to dance in, ignored the fact that I stole and wore my sister's clothes, and said nothing when I declared I wanted to work in what was considered a "female" occupation.
Secretly, she knew I was trans and smiled.
Decades later, as she lay helpless in her bed, I assisted her wonderful carers in her last weeks on this earth. Her personal care became a privilege, not a chore. Her tenacity a beacon of inspiration. Her faith in God brought her relief, knowing she was going to go to a better place.
Good night, Mum, thank you for everything.
With love.
Your son, your daughter, me.
Consultant letter to GP.
“Perhaps if the GP had done more the patient wouldn’t have suffered so much”.
The patient had been referred 6 times. Each time the referral was rejected. Eventually seen 18 months later.
You fuckers have no fucking idea. None. We carry this shit.
On the train today, I was talking to a family member about going to see their GP.
A man overheard and cut in: “GPs are useless. They don’t do anything. You’re better off seeing a specialist.”
The reality for GPs? Ten minute appointments to unpick complex problems. Hundreds of clinical decisions a day. Hours of paperwork after clinic. Years of training to cover multiple branches of medicine.
All dismissed in seconds.
I told him I’m a GP trainee. I said GPs are working under impossible conditions, many burning out or leaving. His response? “No great loss then.”
It’s easier to blame the doctor in front of you than the politicians that created these conditions. But without doctors, the NHS cannot survive.
If we keep losing doctors, the NHS loses its foundation. That’s why we’re fighting for fair pay and working conditions: because without the staff, there is no NHS.
