Respecting the sanctity of Makkah and Madinah doesn’t mean you can’t criticize policies or leaders. Bt mocking Saudi Arabia while eagerly traveling there for Hajj or Umrah is a contradiction worth reflecting on.

Never forget: Allah chose the Arabian Peninsula as the cradle of Islam. He chose an Arab Prophet ﷺ, revealed the Qur’an in Arabic, and made Makkah the direction of every Muslim’s prayer. Through the sacrifices of the Prophet ﷺ, his Companions, and the early Arabs who carried Islam beyond Arabia, this religion reached Africa, Asia, Europe, and beyond.

Every nation has its flaws, but we should never let politics make us forget the immense role Allah decreed for Arabia in the history of Islam. Honor the land that Allah honored, respect d language He chose for His final revelation, and remember the legacy of those who carried Islam to the world.
