In Mark 9:3, Yeshua was shown to wear white. Additionally, white clothes were considered modest by Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).

In a Hadith classified as Sahih, Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah said, "Wear your white garments, for they are among the best of your clothes; and shroud your deceased in them.”

Finally, amongst my ancestors, the Olus of Warri often favoured white in their dress, and their ancestors, the Oonis of Ife, also preferred white.
