Couple tough mistakes from Bouchard last night for sure. But he wasn’t the only one.

The reality of Bouchard is he’ll make a bunch of these all season long and it will frustrate fans, coaches, probly even teammates from time to time. Then the playoffs start and he’s one of the greatest point producing playoff defencemen ever.
Plain and simple.

Playoffs are a long ways away so that’s easy to forget.

If he were the perfect regular season player he would have cost 14 million.

Not excuses, just reality. He is what he is. He’s at his best when it matters the most and a bit all over the map the rest of the time.

The Jays got the best SP traded, one of the best RP’s traded with 4.5 years of control, a Yimi replacement, and a RH bat that gives a more competitive PA than Leo Jimenez.

They also get their starting CF back tomorrow.

Tired of seeing disappointed about the blue Jays deadline,

Let’s not forget they’re the best team in baseball going in, and they might as well not fully tamper with that, but IMO catcher depth and Relievers was a big need and they went out and got what two big names in the pen.

Would I have liked Steven Kwan? Yes for sure but we’re not in the room with Atkins, and who knows what the asking price was. Plus we’re banking on a good stretch for guys like Straw, Lukes, and Loperfido for depth, and who knows that may just pay off big time

14/16 playoff wins. 15/16 the year before. Blowing things up isn’t the answer. There’s a lot of special with this group. Retool the obvious and move forward. This year was special don’t take that for granted
