@Cassandra_NZ For sure. Pursuing “excellence” drives performance culture which leads to unattainable perfection which the creates an environment of fear and churn. A bad cycle. Not Jesus culture.

Planting new churches is (1) an irreplaceable way to bring unchurched people to faith, (2) an irreplaceable way to renew existing churches, (3) a crucial way to develop new Christian leaders in a city, (4) the best way to reach new generations, new immigrants, new people groups.
