@bennjordan So basically averaged out per year, based on that last decade of costs, it costs $192 per year to be a Bitwig user, and $122 a year to be an Ableton user

@bennjordan Also, Ableton Suite V8 didn't cost $999, the more expensive boxed version was only $799, and if you bought it exactly 10 years ago would have included a free update to V9 which was released only a couple months later. basically, your total minus $200 is the cost over 13 years.

@bennjordan That bitwig pricing is WAY wrong, if you are only paying $169 when a new major version is released you are missing big updates (4.3, 4.4). The real cost should be $399+($169 x 9) or $1920 over 10 years.
