We’re in the FT today pushing for better phone signal.

The long-read calls out Britain’s dismal and worsening connectivity - and sets out just how easy it is to fix it: well-targeted planning reforms.

Mobile signal wasn’t getting anywhere near this much air time before we started Buffering Britain just a few months ago.

Thank you to everyone for your support - this is how we raise pressure on the government to fix this.

@RafeeJ_ Planning is the main culprit. We just make it too difficult to build telecoms infrastructure. There are lots of other factors (ripping up all everything Huawei was putting in put us back a year), but planning is the single easiest fix

Genuinely horrendous. Couldn’t do the work I wanted at all. This is the train line connecting two parts of the ‘golden triangle’. How is it this bad?? And Ofcom says most of us have good phone signal… Who are they kidding?
