I agree that gender-swapping a character is a lazy choice but that's not what's happening here, though people act like it is. Laufey is a new character and I'm interested to see her developed beyond being a plot point

Right now 39 channels are live with at least 5,000 viewers.

Unsure how this trends WoW but this could be impacted buy Twitch's efforts to combat bots.

Interestingly, only 4 of those channels are Just Chatting and only 2 are IRL. Could be due to time of day.

By my count there's currently:

@MADkurious No idea about streaming on tiktok tbh, I've only looked at the API as I want to support it in the tools I'm building but the API is pretty crap, especially considering their size!

I use an OBS plugin to multi to twitch and YT but not sure it works for tiktok :/

I might have a workaround to my Kick API issue but I hate everything about it.

Basically, instead of asking Kick who's live I rely on streamers to tell me when they're live via the webhooks but that adds a bazillion layers of complexity on what should be a simple tool... bah

@joe_tendo Yeah, there's definitely something going on. The API I'm grabbing data from is just a list of live channels so nothing too fancy and there's currently a limit param for 1-100 results and that works fine but from what I can tell there's no way to get the next batch of 100

I know the devs are working hard on the APIs but I'm a little surprised the livestreams endpoint doesn't seem to have pagination.

Asking in the discord but Kick might need to be put on hold until the API is in a better state :(
