i think capitalism would be better if eboards and administrative bloat of individual private companies also starved to death if they fucked up just like communists did when they fucked up
maybe they’d be incentivized to run businesses built on sound financial reasoning
Oh,,you don't like cute cats? Or fluffy dog? You aren't enamored by a majestic elk or caribou standing alone in a misty meadow; awe struck by the majesty of big grizzly bear with bed head gazing into a river to catch it's salmon of the day? You are a fool,,so corrupted by cropped pant metrosexual talking head on the internet-show that you think your manhood hinges upon . Cold callous hatred of everything on God's green earth. Here is a tip: your future: sad ,and alone.! I love the Earth and the critters on it
One aircraft. Many missions.
Introducing our dual-use autonomous, series hybrid-electric VTOL aircraft platform. Jointly developed with @anduriltech over the last two years.
The global shift towards scaled autonomy will drive demand, but a dual-use platform is critical to build a broad supply chain that can deliver at the scale and cost needed.
Defense is moving from exquisite, expensive VTOL aircraft to autonomous “loyal wingman” systems fielded at scale without putting crews at risk. Commercial operators need to deliver payloads over long distances, fast, into places without a runway, without a crew, and at low cost.
Today at Farnborough, Anduril unveils Thunder, the defense variant of the platform. Later this week, we’ll share more about the commercial variant.

Our billionaires used to have a deep sense of civic responsibility, and through great acts of service and philanthropy established public goods to be enjoyed by all. Rockefeller bought 11k acres for Acadia National Park and built the carriage trail system. Carnegie helped build over 1,500 libraries in America.
But sure…invest the money in Super PACs and NGOs to “beat back Marxism”. GMAFB. Sorry. They did this to themselves. Not a statement on policy, just that they FAFO.
“There's a storm coming, Mr. Wayne. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.”
Addendum: This is also why studying history for the topics you work with is really important.
Knowing history is not just “who won what war”, but rather things like “how did X or Y come to be”
