With today's Oscars bringing the film year 2023 to a close, it's time to finally post my movies of the year list

Is this gonna happen for real? Because this is a major step and I couldn't be more excited about a new oscar category. This is basically a best cast category and could shine a spotlight on so many films deserving the praise without that one showy performance

No Greta Gerwig for best Director? No Margo Robbie for best Actress? Feels like these two nominations were so obvious. Without those two you wouldn't have the biggest movie of 2023. Gosling and Ferrera are great sure, but feels like a huge miss not two get those two as well
