At Africa Coffee Park, our vision has always been bigger than coffee. We believe Uganda can become a global destination for coffee, value addition, investment and coffee tourism.

The visit of international actor and musician @Tyrese gives Uganda and Africa a powerful opportunity to tell our story to the world, our farmers, coffee, culture, landscapes and the value we are creating at home.

The Park will benefit farmers through value addition, better market opportunities, increased demand for quality coffee, and higher incomes.

As I shared with them, farmers are not spectators in this project they are the reason it exists.

The Africa Coffee Park was built to ensure that more value from Uganda's coffee remains here at home and benefits the people who grow it.

Today, a well-managed acre of coffee can earn a farmer between UGX 12 million and UGX 20 million annually.

Through value addition, better market access, and increased demand for quality coffee, we believe farmers can earn even more from every acre they cultivate.

With over 1.7 million coffee-farming households across Uganda, our mission is simple, To transform coffee from a subsistence crop into a source of wealth, jobs, and prosperity for farming families.

When farmers win, Uganda wins.

Happy Heroes Day to the true heroes of Uganda's coffee story - OUR FARMERS.

Behind every coffee bean is a family, a dream, and countless hours of hard work. More than 1.8 million Ugandan households depend on coffee, making our farmers the backbone of one of the nation's most important industries.

As Uganda rises to become Africa's leading coffee exporter, generating over USD 2 billion in export earnings, we must never forget who made this possible - The farmer.

As we celebrate their resilience and contribution today, our commitment at @InspireAfrica_ is clear: Our next steps are taking us closer to the farmer. We are going to the villages, the coffee gardens, and the communities where the journey of value addition begins.

The future of Uganda's coffee industry will be built by ensuring that those who grow our coffee share more in the value it creates.

Regarding this Parliament, I have been patient before, but this term there will be no room for leaders who seek titles without helping the people they lead. I am directing NRM leaders to return to the parishes and ensure that existing government programmes are lifting people out of poverty.
