As we speed to the end of term each week is jam packed full of incredible opportunities for the children! From empowering house activities, Family Day Breakfast, Carnival Dance, trips galore, campfires to welcoming new families, the school has been buzzing with energy every week!

Another incredible sports day, where despite the slight sprinklings of rain, the children gave their very best to a number of sporting activities! The picnic lunchtime was really special. This was followed by our open afternoon where every room was full of fun & learning.
What a lot we crammed into such a short term! A mini #MARATHON , Morris dancers, #VEDay celebrations, Buddy Trip to the Rare Breeds, to name but a few! Well done to all the children and staff for their hard work last term. We are looking forward to another busy summer term.
Today we 'brought the whole Federation together, to collaborate & make new friends on the way'. Year group peers engaged in different team activities, played together & enjoyed a Federation Church Service, led by both Rev. Rachel & Rev. David. A wonderful day was had by all.
Well what an incredible term it’s been! #forestschool activities, World Book Day, Science Extravaganza, trips galore, sporting festivals, pancakes, a brilliant performance of Macbeth by YR5 at Benenden Girls School, an amazing Federation Day to name but a few! Happy Easter🐣
Over 50 children from across both our schools took place in the inaugural 10:10 Federation Science Extravaganza! We had over 150 visitors to see exhibitions ranging from exploding volcanoes to strawberry DNA extraction! The exhibition really did embody all of our school values.
Children have come back to school with enthusiasm& have jumped right into their learning.Y2 looking at travel writing, Y1 predicting about a text, Y4 comparing the UK & South America;Y3/YR measuring & weight. A small look into the incredible learning journey of our children.
Last week as a school we celebrated Mental Health Week 'Know Yourself, Grow yourself.' Throughout the week children have been doing a range of activities to support their Mental Health, such as yoga, wellbeing bingo, art and wear your scarf day!
The @YoungVoices choir went to the @The02 in London for the concert they had been preparing for since September! We were united together with 8500 other children as the largest choir in the world! We sang some amazing songs from different artists all with such enthusiasm.
Today a team of YR5&6 girls took part in a girl's football event. The girls mixed with pupils from other wealden schools & the girls all played beautifully & enjoyed making new friends. Congratulations to Fleur & Caoilainn for their Most Valuable Player & team spirit awards.
It was Barn Owls first Forest school this week, & in readiness for their trip to the main site in a few weeks time with their buddies, they have had a session in the Glebe field. They were able to learn the forest school rules, had a scavenger hunt & enjoyed the campfire.
It has been lovely to see all the children & staff getting back into the swing of things as we stride through January. This week YR6 have had an amazing time at @BowlesRocks activity centre whilst back at school some children enjoyed making potions, turning liquids in to solids.
Happy New Year. We’ve hit the ground running with some incredible learning taking place already! The teachers across the Federation have been looking hard at the children’s writing together & we have had lots of fun in the snow this week - very exciting!
The last few weeks of term have been full of festive excitement-Simply Nativity, carol singing, pantomime @EM Forster Theatre ...#Christmas📷, a bus, Lunch...parties...a visit from Father Christmas himself...and an amazing #Christmas📷 Service in St. George's Church. #fun#fun!
What an incredible event-thank you all SO SO much! We are very grateful to everyone who came along & supported us & a huge thank you to everyone who helped out. These events do not just happen & without all your support & hard work. Amazing over £3000 raised so far. Nativity next
