October is our #game season! Our 7th-graders are making a #PacMan game using MIT #Scratch this month. They design their own PacMan and #Maze and #code the game with considerable #programming skills, such as #looping, #conditional statements, and #variables.

These groups are learning about robotics during iTime. After building these little guys, they had a blast testing them using the @Makeblock and mBlock Blockly apps. I love how, when they didn’t work as expected, they could break them open again and find the issues. #VSAHKG #STEM

Do you want a way for children to share their favourite books? #Bookflix allows Ss to draw the front covers and write a review on the back. Using something most of them see everyday on the TV only with a twist. The conversations around books and reading are now plentiful!
