@ghirapurigears I still love the idea of normal Commander with a pauper mana bases. It really gives tangible benefits to playing 1-2 colors. If you're gonna make the format more diverse and slower you need to attack the threats or the resources, and there are too many threats.

@bmkibler @lsv @SamuelHBlack @Smdster Did you ever get a chance to try Mythgard before it died? Imo it had the best face down cards as a resource system. It made a lot of good decisions that no one saw because it was eaten alive in the Steam ccg marketplace.

@KMBestMS Crystal continues to be the most dangerous card in Snap. As she gets cheaper combo decks get better. I firmly believe the thing holding her back is just that there isn't a combo good enough to justify playing. As soon as there is Crystal's gonna be public enemy number 1.

@Rooflemonger I'm gonna keep saying it till it becomes true. GIVE HER EVERY CONTROL TOOL. Make her the platonic ideal of pure control; frustrating your opponent while the poisons work. Let her drain health, lock off buttons, stop jumps, drain meter, lag frames. I have such high hopes!

I don't like Roles as a mechanic much in Wilds of Eldrane. There's a lot of paperwork for a lot of similar effects though at least it's better than mutate since you can only have 1. That said it supporting this RW 2 or more permanents ETB in a turn mechanic for limited is genius.

@Rooflemonger @BuruDiman They won't, but I'm holding out hope that, like in her trailer, she swaps between silly and deadly serious as her poison ticks up. So at the beginning of a round she's silly and flapping and stacking poison. Then once you have a lethal dose she goes in for the kill.
