@FatefulThunder @The_Spun_Yarn @Mengu09 @mtgtheepicstorm Ya I’m not invested in whether anyone does content or not, but these aren’t real reasons at all. Do it if you want, or not, no need to make things up to stop yourself 😂

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

@Empty_America Definitely more expensive than you’d want, but I gotta say I love how many trees there are. The city is way greener than you’d think, and I live in a neighborhood with a fantastic old-growth canopy, which combined with year-round sun is really great.

No real argument on vibes 😂

My team won the Lotus Lounge Team Draft League. I spent some time on ranking all the cards in the cube. Here’s the top 50. Top 100 in comments. The top 100 doesn’t match my beliefs perfectly due to some lumping of cards. Might write an article.

@SaffronOlive @StanCifka yeah that's a weird angle of criticism. There are certainly valid problems with the mana system, but age isn't a very good argument.

The Lotus 🪷 Lounge Cube League Finals are live now! Let the sweet sounds of @Marshall_LR and @abaeckst take you through a high-stakes draft of the best format 💪

The way Riftbound utilizes power costs has changed my ranking - it really makes the resource system work well. I have their system as #2 now, with lands still ahead ⛰️

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

TCG Resource System Power Rankings:

1. Lands 🏆 (MTG)
2. Gain 1 resource per turn (HS)
3. Resource deck to draw from (RFT)
4. Playing cards face-down (SWU)
5. No resources - rules constraints (YGO)

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

@TobermanAG I did indeed

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

@Elliott_Games That said, Duel Masters is a great game, and many games have used its mechanics as a result

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

@Elliott_Games Any card can be a land is one of the least-friendly systems to less experienced players. I generally don’t think it works out well.

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

@PVDH_magic Doesn’t sound great!

@Blacmagiccat And therefore?

The finals of the Lotus 🪷 Lounge Cube League are tomorrow! I’ll be battling, but @Marshall_LR, @abaeckst, and @Trollascetic will be covering the action 💥

Coverage goes live at 6pm PST tomorrow on my Twitch channel - huge thanks to @UltimateGuard for sponsoring the league!

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

@SamuelPlotHooks @Marshall_LR @abaeckst @Trollascetic @UltimateGuard Neither - it’s full coverage, starting with @MackSmith79 as the featured drafter

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

@Zinkpro45 @Marshall_LR @abaeckst @Trollascetic @UltimateGuard I’ll be running that as soon as the league concludes!

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

@WildestNacatl @BenS_MTG it's ok, not as good as one of the kids sleeping through the night, but since I can't have that I'll win some boxes 😂

[Luis Scott-Vargas @lsv]

@Sierkovitz been there amigo, it sucks like hell
