Let me start by saying AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Turns out SARS-CoV-2 RAPIDLY infects the NERVOUS SYSTEM long BEFORE it even enters the bloodstream.

These findings have huge implications! Here's an analysis of the study, written for a general audience. (Sorry in advance!)

Hey my medicine and public health people!

How much do you know about eugenics?

Just old pseudoscience, you say?

Any idea how much it continues to influence us?

Answer: A LOT.

I taught a class on the history of eugenics and public health today. Here's what we covered: 🧵

A NYE Covid 🧵. It’s nearing the end of year four of the Covid pandemic and I’m exhausted. I’m sad. I’m frustrated. And not for the reasons you might think. In the beginning Covid didn’t significantly alter my life. I was already disabled & housebound when the pandemic hit. /1

Lower East Side residents are trying to close Bluestockings bookstore because they give out narcan, socks, and toothpaste and let unhoused people go to the bathroom.

Vile, disgusting behavior from LES gentrifiers.

The last few days have weighed heavily on our hearts, as we watch the heart-wrenching loss of life in Israel/Palestine.

As a movement of Jews, immigrants, & allies, we have many among us who are experiencing personal grief and fear for the safety of friends and family.

I am gathering a list of all the "reporters" who are claiming the story about the beheaded babies is true. If this turns out to be false, and it gets reported a year from now when it served its purpose, I will never, ever stop reminding you of who spread this lie. We will see.

Non-industry folks who may not know: the studios can use snippets of our work w/o compensation for promotional purposes. By putting the film up in small parts, they get $ from the ads that they don't hv to compensate us for because of a technical loophole. Part of why we strike.

I just wanted to update everyone on a significant change for X (Twitter). Most TV Stations (I assume all) can no longer push any content to Twitter through our weather systems. No updates. No watches. And the most concerning is no warnings. No severe t-storm warnings, no flash flood warnings, and no tornado warnings. They have limited access to their API and there is no solution at this point. I can’t say if that will or will not change. You can still get warnings through your TV, all other social media platforms that you follow us on, and through our App.

I always felt public safety was paramount over all. Maybe I was wrong.

This story is horrifying. An LASD officer followed a trans man who was leaving their teaching job, then brutally attacked him without provocation. The reason given: an air freshener. The deputy was not disciplined; the victim was charged with a felony. https://t.co/Yr7xPOWmnC
