@Ausgrid From reading Ausgrids fb page, restoration involves: fixing the underground cable in the morning, wait till 9:00pm when it’s “safe”, flip the switch and hope for the best. If that doesn’t do the trick the repeat the next day. We are in for the long haul folks.

@rB33576302 @Ausgrid You might be right but other suburbs seeing far heavier development have suffered far less. I wonder how much negligence Ausgrid has allowed on the network redundancy. The very same mentality on Boeing’s part led to the demise of two planeful of passengers and crew.

@Ausgrid On Monday? I was told repair work will be carried out through the night, then I was told it will be continued in the morning, and now I am told I can't get any info from you until Monday. Wars had been lost for lesser incompetence.

@Ausgrid It would be nice if Ausgrid can disclose the detailed scope of damages, what it takes to repair, what is causing the multitude of delays, why there are multiple single point of failures, why there was no contingency plan activated. Please don't leave us all in the dark.

@Ausgrid This is the second 48+ power outage in the last 12 months. Are we expecting more of these in the coming month or does Ausgrid have a concrete plan to fix it for good?
