Some housekeeping updates for folks who support me on Patreon, in which I also apologise for not being active on there or posting new content in forever. Thank you soooooo much to everyone who is still supporting me.

Hi @Genderintell, I'm looking to get in touch about fundraising for you. Is the only way to do this through the contact form on your website or is there an email address where I can reach you?
I’ve fallen into a rabbit hole of just feeling like the world hates trans people. I’ve had media requests, messages, and seen so many news articles recently that are all wanting to make trans people out to be villains, or that are posing our rights as a valid debate. Fed up of it
If you consider yourself a trans ally then take 5 minutes to send this.
The proposal hides behind "protecting women's spaces". But it is a malicious policy designed to worsen the policing of toilets, which would worsen the violence and harassment faced by trans and GNC people
If you want to know what the term 'cis' actually means, check out this video from @jammi_dodger94! Jamie says some really clever shit and - though this isn't important to the educational value of the video - his hair is spectacular and totally #goals.

The room is spinning around me and I'm crying so hard I can't see, so I'm going to stop tweeting now. But seriously, @kinkly, do better.
Cis sex bloggers, do better.
I'm honoured to appear on @kinkly's 2020 Readers' Choice list BUT is no one going to mention that the winner of the Top New Sex Blogs is Missy, who was called out for transphobia earlier in the year and did not apologise to any of the trans bloggers she treated like shit?
It's International #PronounsDay! Friendly reminder that you can't tell someone's pronouns by looking at them. Not sure which pronouns to use? Check their bio or politely ask them which pronouns they use.
My pronouns are she/her. What are yours?
It's International #PronounsDay! I'm probably tempting another terf shit storm by tweeting this, but:
- I'm trans - more specifically genderfluid,
- My pronouns are ze/hir/he/him, and
- If this confuses you, check out this post I wrote about pronouns: https://t.co/FPdxOGB5CP
"You’ve been feeling this for a long time. For years you’ve felt like an imposter, never quite clicking with the gender you’ve been told is yours. But you’ll never feel comfortable in your skin until you take that leap into the unknown."
I love this so much.
CW: Transphobia
I got personal and painful this week, talking about the things I wish I knew when I first came out.
If you're trans yourself feel free to share something you wish you knew when you first realised 💙❤️🤍❤️💙

If you misgender someone, correct yourself and keep it pushing. Spending time apologizing and saying “it’s hard for me, I’m not used to this” etc just centers yourself and now the person you’ve misgendered has to comfort you even though you’re the one who wronged them
Mx Nillin has deleted their Twitter account, so I'm here urging cis sex bloggers to read this. You can't have a sex positive community if you're not inclusive of trans and non-binary folks, y'all. I'm exhausted too, and I'm not surprised that they can't do this anymore.
"It still falls on us to actually do or say anything when cissexism or transphobia rears its head… and every time we do we’re chastized, dismissed, ignored, invalidated, and more, for making our cis peers and allies uncomfortable by speaking up at all."

Want to know what you can do to help? Want to acknowledge how much work I am doing to educate y'all even though I'm bleeding out right now?
Read my work. Use goggle. Share my tweets. Hire me to write about this shit. Oh, and give me money on Patreon: https://t.co/4eDNXFtuwz
This is what an ally does, folks. Livvy paid me to do a sensitivity reading of this piece and she took my suggestions even though I'm sure being told she wasn't being inclusive was uncomfortable. She acknowledges that she still fucks up and needs to work to do better.
I also wanted to thank @benicetotrans for hir trans sensitivity reading of this. It was so so useful and made me much more confident to post it! Ze helped me with my language choices and gently pointed out where I was *still* being cis-centric despite my best efforts. Ze’s fab!!
If you want to help, actually speak up for trans people. Read my work. Educate yourselves. Share my posts. I want to help but rn I am giving so much that I have nothing for myself. Don't tell me to self care when you're not taking on the work of calling out cissexism yourself.
