Earlier today a delegation of local Christian community leaders led by Pastor Ghazala Shafique and Luke Victor visited my house to sing Christmas carols. They all had questions for our Honourable CJ Qazi Faez Isa. Despite Christmas being the most joyous time of the year for Christians they are dedicating the festivities as an opportunity to talk about #Jaranwala incident and demand justice.

A petition in which Pastor Ghazala Shafique and Luke Victor are petitioners has been pending before Supreme Court since many weeks and is yet to be heard if the Hon' Judges can make time.

This is an appeal to the CJP who before taking his office showed a lot of concern and visited Jaranwala despite not having any case before him on the incident. But now there is a case pending and it require is him to exercise his lawful authority this time.

My hero @WaelDahdouh. If he wasn’t Palestinian, he’d be the most famous face in the world decorating the covers of every magazine as person of the year. A man who has almost lost his life multiple times, yet never lost the will to keep covering the crimes against his people. When Israel bombed his wife and kids whom he loved so dearly, he persisted. When they shot him and killed his cameraman yesterday, he still cried out to the paramedics to go to those who had more severe injuries. And he continued to report even from his hospital bed. A symbol of courage. A symbol of hope. A symbol of faith. I love you my brother Wael. May Allah preserve you for us, and unite you with your loved ones once again in paradise. Ameen
