@Lobs_All_Day@ultCLEsports@Gbush91 Idk why exactly, I’d have to ask him. But is there something wrong with him mentioning Black kids though? If so, I’m curious why you feel that way.
@Lobs_All_Day@ultCLEsports@Gbush91 Okay, I think we are seeing this very differently. Regardless, I think it’s pretty unfair for you to assume GBush wouldn’t have cared as much if the payer was White.
@Lobs_All_Day@ultCLEsports@Gbush91@Lobs_All_Day Ok, I guess I’m not understanding your question. When I watched, I heard it as “GBush sees how people who look like him continue to be taken advantage of, like Hamlin. Do you feel that by Gbush saying “Black kids”, that he also means “And Not white people”?
@nickbussey23@ultCLEsports@Gbush91 That’s how you’re hearing it. You’re hearing it as “GBush forgot about me, people who look like me. White people also play in the NFL.” Instead, what if we heard it as, “GBush sees how people who look like him continue to be taken advantage of, and Hamlin is just another example”
@Lobs_All_Day@ultCLEsports@Gbush91 NFL is a microcosm of America… most of the money and power in America is held by small percentage of rich white men (owners) who continue to get richer off the backs of Black and brown ppl (players) at all costs. Race is very relevant here.

@GAlexander21@CoachDanBaker The only question both of us should be asking is does targeting (the penalty) make the game safer; not whether it’s fair or not
