"The expectations of this team should be top 5 team in the sport, should be final four, should be national championship"
@CarterElliott__ thought there should be lofty expectations for Louisville, but there definitely are now with the addition of Seth Trimble⬇️
Yes @Louisville MBB has loaded their roster with talent ala Seth Trimble ! Should have a big year & Cardinals faithful fans will be ecstatic! https://t.co/BxZFpzly9R
Former UNC star guard Seth Trimble has committed to Louisville, he told @PeteThamel.
Trimble entered the portal this spring and the Colorado district court ruling on the Class of 2022 opened the door for his eligibility.

Pat Kelsey has brought Louisville back from the dead over the last 2 seasons however the tournament results still leave a lot to be desired as the team nearly choked to South Florida last season before losing ti Michigan State in the Round of 32. This offseason Louisville went out and spent big time and brought in some big time players along with a lot of solid key role players. They brought in a great PG in Shelstad and the BIG 12 DPOY in Flory Bidunga. Outside of that they brought in of decent role players with the likes of Karter Knox, Alvaro Folguerias, and De’Shayne Montgomery. The team lost most of it’s production from last season but they do return Adrian Wooley and London Johnson and they brought in 3 freshmen: Obinnia Ekezie Jr, Boyuan Zhang, and Isaac Ellis. This team has plenty of length, athleticism and rim protection, however my concerns lie with the wing depth and Perimeter shooting. Pat Kelsey has shown to be a perimeter centric coach and this offseason changed to an entirely different type of team so time will tell if that change will be for the best. Id expect a lot of their success offensively to depend almost entirely on Jackson Shelstad. This team can make the Final Four if they hit their ceiling however right now I don’t quite see them as being able to get there.
Strengths:
Length
Athleticism
Rim Protection
Guard Depth
Weaknesses:
Perimeter Shooting
Wing Depth
Consistent scoring output outside of Shelstad
Floor:
R32
Ceiling:
Elite 8 maybe Final Four

i really love his sets to get his 3pt shooters open, those then open up other opportunities.
out of his many X&O strengths, probably my favorite basketball quality about him 🔥
