I’ve had the opportunity to present at both the SAPC North 2024 with a poster presentation and at PRIME 2024 conference with an oral talk. We have now begun data collection from both the intervention and control groups of then trial. (3/3)

I’m part of the @Think_Cancer team looking at improving earlier cancer diagnosis in primary care. So far we have managed to over recruit in the phase III stage of the trial, reaching 99 practices across Wales and England, leading to a practice population of over 1 million. (2/3)

After months of planning and discussions, we successfully collected plastics beads passed through a waste water treatment plant! From here we will extract DNA and protein from the beads to determine what microbial communities have attached to them. #Microplastics #Research
