@Chase_Senior It’s not that the draft needs defending or not. It’s the use of the arbitrary “consensus board” as a measuring stick. If the content creators provided insight in the actual picks themselves I’d enjoy engaging w that. If the convo is about “reaches” it’s not really interesting.
@grantcohn Not saying the picks are great or bad. But using a “consensus” draft board to eval a draft is so nauseatingly low IQ. But fans fall into the trap every year.
@jerrythornton In the State of Florida refusal to blow is a second degree misdemeanor for the. Also, the jury will be told you refused to submit and that refusal can be used as “consciousness of guilt” that you were impaired and that is why u refused.
@nut_history Stadiums are built for the teams to play, the employ hundreds of people to run it and have to pay the players contracts.
Augusta is a private golf course funded by mill and billionaires, w a tournament once a year, the event is run by volunteers and they don’t pay the players.
@parkerhurley@grantcohn I’d be interested to see some research in age/salary cap hit compared to winning %. All we hear is that it’s bad to be old. But how does that translate to W-L when you factor in the salary cap % by age? It would be useful to see some data included in this discussion.
@Tonysmarkettips Since none of us have ever had any idea what this regime is doing w the OL I’ve given up on that position. I’ll say safety. How do you have John Lynch as your GM and have such a glaring weakness at safety.
@JigginJalen@Coach_Yac@nfldraftscout Your position that teams don’t trade away difference makers can be easily dismissed by a number of examples of teams trading away difference makers. But the wildest part about your position is that you’re acting like the cowboys, who traded away Parsons, wouldn’t do it.
@grantcohn Don’t hate him. Just lost respect for a guy that gave up on his teammates. He could’ve shown up for them and then said f Lynch, f KS and f the FO trade me after the season is over. I would’ve had some respect for him if he did that.
@49ersSportsTalk Why is this argument resurfacing. Yes losing the firsts sucks. But the dolphins didn’t acquire those players w our picks. They used our picks, their picks and their players to make those moves. Don’t act like we could’ve just had those three players w our 1s.
